Software & Product

Hey, welcome to my corner of the internet

I'm a software developer & product strategist based in Seattle.

I currently build distributed systems for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.

Previously, I've solved digital finance problems for F500 companies at PwC, and worked for Marvel Entertainment as a core member of the Business Intelligence team. In Jan 2020, I graduated from New York University with a B.A. in Computer Science & Comparative Literature.

Since then, I've left New York for Seattle, but some things stay the same -- on weekends, I drink my cappuccino, find some dogs to pet, and draw.

My cat, Crème Brûlée, leads a more interesting life (of mischief).

    Shape of stories

Curious to test out Kurt Vonnegut's theory that "stories have shapes", this NLP project analyses sentiment progressions of 1000 literary texts.

Naive Bayes is used for sentiment classification, and K-means clustering inspects whether books fall into typical emotional trajectories like “Rags to riches” (starts with negative sentiment, ends positive) and "Man in a hole"(positive, negative, positive).

    Evolving maze solver

Recalling my childhood love of solving mazes in the morning paper, I designed a multi-threaded system that solves mazes of different sizes using Aritificial Intelligence (genetic algorithm).

This program mutates based on previous distance-to-completion & wall-hit rate.

    Street Jammin

In New York, my friends and I often come across street musicians offering to sell us their "hot mixtapes" on CDs.

We want to create a more modern way of distributing street music, and Street Jammin was born. A music repo for street performers, it allows them to upload music & generate QR codes that can be sold to users, who then scan these codes to download music.

    Say Hello.

I believe in the power of human connection -- let's build something together.
